Middle School Core Files Strategy Guide and Flow Sheets Released

The CDC has released several documents that are intended to help prepare middle school debaters for their upcoming first tournament:

  • The Middle School Core Files Strategy Guide (with page numbers for arguments): A handy way to organize and find arguments in the Core Files while putting together both 1NC strategies and 2AC responses to strategies you might hear.

  • A blank template for a flow sheet (the notes debaters and judges will take during a debate) that lists the speech order and times, as requested at the last training

  • An example of a filled out flow sheet for an entire debate on one issue, in this case the Afghanistan Harms.
