Where: Corboy Law Center, Loyola University Water Tower Campus, 25 E. Pearson (near Red Line Chicago stop on CTA), Room 1201
Who: Coaches should send the names of students planning to attend to David Song by Friday at noon.
What: Introduction to Kritiks – How to Use Them and Answer Them on the Military Topic. Presented by Aaron Davis, external coach for Northside College Prep and a legendary debater for Morgan Park, where he was the first urban debater to qualify for the Tournament of Champions, achieving a winning record his senior year against the best teams in the country. Multiple coaches and students have remarked on Aaron’s enthusiasm and passion for debate and working with students and his student seminars have been highly reviewed, as was his teaching at the CDSI in past summers. This is a terrific opportunity to work with one of the brightest young cutting-edge debate minds on what are often the most confusing and intimidating arguments for young debaters and experienced debaters alike, using philosophy in debate successfully and clearly.
