Spring Recruitment and Summer Programming

The CDL administration would like to use the last few weeks of the school year to help schools recruit for next season and to assist schools’ registration for the exceptional summer programming the CDL has on offer in July and August — the 15th Annual Chicago Debate Summer Institute , which is three weeks for the first time ever, and will have a large and truly top-flight staff, and high-quality and carefully-designed coach training courses for every teacher and coach in the CDL and CMSDL.

We’ll be contacting all schools individually in the near term to find out where your debate program stands in relation to these very valuable opportunities to get a great start to the 2011/12 debate season. We — and here I mean David and I (Les) — want to set up a robust schedule of site visits between now and the end of June to help with your orientation, recruitment, and pre-season meetings.
