2011/12 Professional Development System and PD Notebook

The 2011/12 CDL Professional Development System identifies the seven PD venues offered in the CDL and the basic benchmark of 20 hours of PD per coach, 10 hours per semester. For external coaches (non-teachers), the standard is 10 hours overall, 5 hours per semester. For veterans (coaches in their 7th year of coaching, or more), there is no standard, though we’ll track their hours too (for incentive purposes only). Please take a close and careful look at the System.

The current 2011/12 CDL Professional Development Reporting Notebook itemizes and tracks the number of PD hours each CDL coach has undertaken this year, and will be updated and posted on the programming site on a regular basis.
