Student Seminar This Saturday, 3/3, Conducted by the University of Chicago

The most educationally intense event of the season is coming up: the citywide Chicago Debate Championship, March 23rd – 25th. Preparations for it, and competition at it, can have the most significant educational impact on debaters across the League of anything they do all year in the CDL.

Here is one valuable opportunity to prepare first-year debaters for the city championship. The University of Chicago Rising Phoenix Debate Society, a group of former National Circuit debaters committed to debate education in Chicago, is offering a student training seminar this Saturday, March 3rd, 9am – 11am, at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, 25 E. Pearson St. Room 602. Registration is required — send us student names by the end of the day Thursday, March 1st, by email cdc@resources.chicagodebates.org.
