Final SY2012 Second-Semester Allstate Incentives for Tournament Participation
Early in the second semester we announced the slate of second-semester CDL coach incentives. Here are the final disbursements of Allstate incentives offered for tournament participation this season.
(i) Allstate Incentives for Increasing Debate Participation
For the second semester, these are given to schools for increasing their total debate tournament participation this season over last season’s total (T1-T6), $100 for every 12 more tournament debaters this season over last season.
Here are the incentives we’re issuing after the conclusion of the regular season, followed by a parenthetical total the school has earned for this incentive over the course of the season (i.e., adding the post-T6 incentive to the T1-T5 incentives already earned in this category).
Amundsen — $100 ($400 total)
Michele Clark — $50 ($200)
Ellison — $50 ($550 total)
Evanston — $50 ($250 total)
Harlan — $50 ($550 total)
Hubbard — $50 ($350 total)
Thomas Kelly — $50 ($350 total)
Lane Tech — $400 ($850 total)
Mason — $50 ($200 total)
Northside — $300 ($400 total)
Phoenix — $50 ($350 total)
South Shore — $50 ($50 total)
The full reporting on these incentives is in the Allstate Incentives for Increasing Debate Participation Tracking Form.
(ii) Allstate Incentives for Debate Participation Performance
At the end of the season, the top 10 schools in tournament participation overall for the season (T1 – T6) receive a $350 incentive, while schools 11 – 20 in participation overall receive a $150 incentive.
These are the final top 20 schools in tournament participation this season.
(iii) Allstate Expanding Opportunities Incentives
The Allstate Expanding Opportunities Initiative schools (those CDL schools with a 90% or higher Title I percentage) earn incentives at the end of the second semester in two categories.
(a) Participation Numbers Overall
The top five schools through T6 earn $500 in incentives, 6th – 10th place schools earn $250.
These are the final top ten Expanding Opportunities schools in tournament participation this season.
(b) Participation Change in the Second Semester
This metric compares the level of debater participation at tournaments 4 – 6 this season to the level of debater participation at tournaments 1 -3 this season — so a kind of “top-improving schools this season” measurement.
The final top five schools on this metric through T6 earn $500 in coach incentives. Here are those schools.
The full reporting on the Expanding Opportunities incentives is in the Allstate Expanding Opportunities Tracking Form.
Congratulations to all incentive earners!
