Judges Needed for This Weekend's Tournament One

We are in need of reliable, helpful judges to give our students feedback at their first tournament of the year this weekend. If you’re available and would like to get involved, even as a newer judge, we could use your help to get our students started learning about the topic and having members of the community assist their development early in the year.

The sites and time blocks available are:

Friday – $40 compensation:
Hyde Park Academy, 6220 S. Stony Island (near 63rd St. Metra and CTA bus lines) – 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm block

Saturday – In order of most need – judges who are available for entire day very much welcome:

Bogan HS, 3939 W. 79th St. (at Pulaski, near CTA bus lines) – 8:15 am – 12:30 pm block ($25 compensation/half day)
Bogan HS, 3939 W. 79th St. (at Pulaski, near CTA bus lines) – 12:45 pm – 4:45 pm block ($25 compensation/half day)

Chicago Ag HS, 3857 W. 111th St. (at Pulaski, near CTA bus lines) – 8:15 am – 12:30 pm block ($25 compensation/half day)
Chicago Ag HS, 3857 W. 111th St. (at Pulaski, near CTA bus lines) – 12:45 pm – 4:45 pm block ($25 compensation/half day)

Hyde Park Academy, 6220 S. Stony Island (near 63rd St. Metra and CTA bus lines) – 8 am – 12 pm block ($20 compensation/half day)
Hyde Park Academy, 6220 S. Stony Island (near 63rd St. Metra and CTA bus lines) – 12:30 pm –  6 pm block ($20 compensation/half day)
(Semis – finals bonus for experienced judges) Hyde Park Academy, 6220 S. Stony Island (near 63rd St. Metra and CTA bus lines) – 6:15 pm – 10:15 pm block ($25 finals bonus)

For brand new judges or those who want a refresher, we have a new judge training tomorrow evening at Loyola University Water Tower Campus:

10/17: Judge Training Workshop — 5:00pm – 7:00pm
