The CMSDL Medal Count aggregates all team awards won by a school at CMSDL tournaments throughout the season, giving each award a medal, with a point valuation — where winning the 1st place is the most valuable medal, 2nd place is the second most valuable, 3rd and 4th place is the third most valuable, and 5th – 8th place is the fourth, and where Varsity medals being more valuable than JV medals. This medal count structure parallels the high school medal count structure above.
