Northwestern’s Chicago Debate Scholars 2017

Congratulations to 2017’s incoming Chicago Scholars:

- Carla Ballesteros, Phoenix Military Academy
Northwestern University’s Chicago Debate Scholars program has, for the last few years, funded the full tuition, meal and room and board costs of 4 weeks of debate camp for promising debaters and academically successful students after their freshman year and in subsequent summers during their high school debate career, with an eye toward preparing them to attend and debate for a great school like Northwestern.
This program is open to 4 new students a year from the Red, White, and Blue Conferences following their first year of high school debate. Strong preference (and the first look) is given to students who are going into their sophomore year.
