High School Coaches: Vote for the National 2020-2021 Debate Topic!
If you’re a high school coach, IHSA is collecting one ballot from each high school offering debate by December 15th. Your vote goes toward the overall vote from the state of Illinois toward the NFHS national topic selection vote that adds up each state. Chicago Debates has the largest number of debate high schools in the state by far within CPS and your voice is mighty when it comes to which topic Illinois votes for!
The two final topics are Criminal Justice Reform and Climate Change. You can see a synopsis of the two final topics and the ballot below – you’ll send directly to IHSA and not to Chicago Debates:
