The Seymour Simon Award, given annually at the Chicago Debate Championship, recognizes the person or institution who made the most significant positive impact on the Chicago Debate League this year. The award is named in honor of the founding Chair of the Chicago Debate Commission, the late Justice Seymour Simon.
