The Chicago Debate Commission Board is delighted to welcome three new members, who bring powerful experience, knowledge and commitment to the organization.

Judy Brennan, Executive Vice President at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, will bring her public relations expertise to the Board, helping the organization’s work to be recognized in the community. Ms. Brennan is the mother of aWalter Payton High School debater, Will Brennan.

Savi Pai, banker at JPMorgan Chase, is a former debater with substantial investment, financial and business experience. Her business acumen – and personal connection to debate – will serve the organization well. Savi notes, “Participating on the debate team at New Trier High School was a life-changing experience, both in terms of the skills I developed and the lasting friendships I made. My hope is to provide the same opportunity to others.”

Mandee Polonsky, Education Director of Right At School was formerly with Chicago Public Schools and, along with Les Lynn and Sylvia Nelson Jordan, was one of the primary architects of the Chicago Middle School Debate League. Mandee brings to the organization extensive programmatic knowledge of debate and keen insight into education and trends in education reform.
